About
Hi there! I am Georgi Kirilov, I build interfaces that scale, accessible, maintainable, and built to last. Based in Sweden, I specialize in design systems, component architecture, and bridging the gap between design and reliable code, with a focus on large products and enterprise platforms.
What I Do
A big part of my work is creating and evolving design systems that help teams build consistent products faster. That includes working with design tokens, documentation, accessibility, Storybook, and workflows that connect design and development more smoothly.
On the frontend side, I work mainly with React, Angular, and Stencil. I like building component-driven systems, improving maintainability, and shaping solid foundations for teams working in larger codebases and monorepos.
I also spend time on tooling and infrastructure around the frontend ecosystem, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, monitoring, automation, and developer experience improvements. I care a lot about making workflows faster, clearer, and easier for teams to use every day.
Beyond implementation, I enjoy knowledge sharing through documentation, code reviews, pair programming, and open-source contributions. I like helping teams build not just better products, but also better ways of working together.
Interests & Learning
I’m especially interested in how design systems continue to evolve, from component standards to better design-to-code processes. Outside of that, I enjoy exploring developer productivity, automation, AI in frontend work, and tools like e-readers and digital planners that support focused thinking.
